I am not dead yet. Although many might disagree due to my lack of participation so far this faire season. It has been a trying winter and spring. Injuries, illness and sick parents abound. I have been very busy with the museum and just trying to keep my head above water. I miss everyone terribly and I can't wait until I do see my fellow rennies.

I will be a merchant at Salem Pirate Festival and CTRF. I am hoping to attend NYRF for the first time this year. Hope I see some of you there. Hope everyone is well. Lots of hugs and kisses.....

Some people have wondered where I am. I am not dead yet, just been missing in action. Let's just say that there has been much in the way of family drama. Add to it my own car problems and you have someone who wants to live under a rock for awhile.

I have missed so much faire this season. I am hoping to get to Tux at least once this season. I have never been. I also have done very little in the way of getting stock together for CTRF and Salem. I now have to bust my tuckus for the next few weeks.

I can't wait to see everyone. I miss you all too much. I miss the whole faire existence and experience. I so need to get away from here and into my lovely faire world.

Oh.... and I will get pictures up as soon as I scan them in. First I have to figure out how to hook up the scanner.....

I don't really have time to blog. I have less than 2 months to the first faire and I have so little inventory. I know selling out of all my jewelry is a good thing but it leaves me with nothing! So off to my little work area to bend and twist silver. I have learned to hammer. I love it. I just have to wait for my first hammer and anvil to arrive. I already have on order another hammer. :)) I have learned to solder, but I don't have a torch yet. That's next. So's the fire extinguisher......

Okay... this is my first blog ever. Just wanted to say hi to everyone! I think I could become addicted to this site. Seems like fun. I will fill it all out but right now I feel lazy. :)

I am known as Lady Anisette (Lady A) on IWG and NERennies. At faire I tried to go with Mistress JoAnna but none of you would have it.... so Lady A it is. I also go by Jody.... please don't call me JoAnne.

Most of you know that I am a newbie merchant at faires, selling my jewelry. I have been trying to improve my abilities. I am self taught, but now I am taking silversmith classes. I have been doing it for 8 weeks and I am signing up for another 2 months. I have learned a lot and I am having a great deal of fun creating new designs. I am learning Lost Wax..... so much fun. Moira will be the first recipient of my work.... :) My biggest fan.

I love corgis but haven't had one since my baby Ani (see avatar) passed. Someday I will have another. I also am involved in environmental education at a small CT museum. Plus I still do the occasional bartending gig to make extra bucks. But I hate it.... I'd rather be teaching, making jewelry or at faire. However, I have no problem mixing drinks at faire. I love an appreciative crowd!

Okay... time to get my butt in gear and go shovel.
